I am Yaroslav Mytsak. My Dad is Ukrainian. My Uncle, Aunt, Nieces and Nephews are all in Ukraine right now. My mom is Russian but ALL my family have a Ukrainian heart. Since the first day of this horrible war we are trying to help and support Ukraine.
My father's family are near Lviv (Western Ukraine). Refugees from all over Ukraine are escaping Russian aggression through that city. My Niece, Darya Mytsak is an anesthesiologist. She is working day and night at a humanitarian aid center. Right now there is a big need for medical supplies, tourniquets to prevent bleeding, insulin, first aid kits and more. Also there is a dire need of food, blankets and clothes.
My Mom and Dad are sending money to help, but I wanted to do something too. I know that boys and girls are suffering so much in Ukraine right now. There is a constant worry that bombing could happen at any minute. People have limited food, no place to hide, and no basic medical care. I am donating my saved money and asking all my incredible friends, teachers, and parents to please support the people in Ukraine. Please donate anything that you can! All the money that we collect will go to fund medical supplies and food for refugees. Me and Darya will provide an update on everyday work at the humanitarian aid center.

Dear Friends, I would like to update you on our fundraising process! Thank you so much to all of our amazing donors for your support and kindness! So far we have been able to send to Ukraine medical supplies for a total amount of 6,800$. They all have been delivered to people in need because this horrible war is not over yet. Tourniquets and chest tapes are saving the lives of people in Ukraine every minute. I'm attaching a thank you note that I received from Ukraine. We will send another bag with tourniquets next week and will continue to support Ukraine until victory day! I will close our fundraising on this note, but our work is not stopping.
