My name is Akeida Oglesby, and I’m reaching out for support during an incredibly difficult time for my family.
My daughter has recently been arrested and is currently awaiting extradition back to Georgia in connection with a serious case. As we navigate this situation, our priority is making sure she has proper legal representation and that her rights are protected throughout the process.
She is a 4.0 graduate, a dedicated and dependable worker, and most importantly, a loving mother to her bright and beautiful 6-year-old daughter, who needs her. She has never been in trouble before—this situation is completely out of character for her.
She has also faced personal challenges, including being a survivor of domestic violence, and has continued to push forward with strength and resilience.
We have found an attorney who is prepared to take her case, but we must secure a $10,000 retainer as soon as possible so that legal work can begin immediately once she arrives in Georgia.
