Keeping Our Oak Hills Families Home
At Oak Hills Elementary, school is more than a place to learn—it’s a place of safety, routine, and belonging. For several families in our school community, that sense of stability is now at risk.
Right now, these families are facing an impossible choice. Because of fear around immigration enforcement, parents are afraid to leave their homes to go to work. This loss of income has put them at immediate risk of falling behind on rent and losing their housing altogether. The stress is constant, and the impact is felt most deeply by their children—our students—who deserve to focus on learning, growing, and simply being kids.
No family should have to choose between safety and survival.
We are coming together as a community to help keep these Oak Hills Elementary families housed and supported during this incredibly difficult time. All funds raised through this effort will go directly to 360 Communities, earmarked specifically to support our OHE families with urgent housing-related needs. This ensures that help is provided quickly, confidentially, and with care.
If funds raised exceed immediate housing needs, additional donations will be used to purchase groceries and other essential household items—relieving some of the daily burdens these families are carrying and helping them stretch limited resources further.
Your support, no matter the amount, can make a real difference:
- A donation can help prevent an eviction
- It can put food on the table
- It can give a child the security of sleeping in their own bed tonight
When our neighbors are struggling, Oak Hills shows up. Thank you for standing with our families, leading with compassion, and helping keep our community strong.
