Hi, I’m Laura, a mom of three doing my best to keep up with life while living with Multiple Sclerosis.
I was diagnosed in 2016, and as this progressive disease has done what it does, my ability to walk has gradually declined. One of the biggest challenges I face right now is foot drop, which makes something as simple as walking exhausting, unsafe, and sometimes impossible.
I’ve been given the opportunity to get a device that could significantly improve my mobility and independence. This device would help me walk more safely, reduce my risk of falling, and allow me to be more present and active for my kids.
Unfortunately, my insurance will not cover the cost.
As a single mom of three, I don’t have the financial flexibility to afford this on my own. Asking for help is not easy, but this is one of those moments where I truly need it.
Every donation, no matter the amount, brings me one step closer to being able to move more freely and continue showing up for my kids the way they deserve.
If you’re not able to donate, sharing this would mean just as much to me.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can give. It truly means more than I can put into words.
