I am a single divorced mother of 2. I have been a Type 1 Diabetic going on 38 years now. I have had a heart attack at 31. I have had 3 strokes.... the first one at the age of 34..... (9 months after my Dad died ) 2nd and 3rd stroke at 37. I have been 100% disabled since the age of 36.
I'm a generation X baby. If you are my age or around there you know that, We Don't ask for handouts...EVER....we are just too proud for that kind of thing. But I have been knocked down so hard this last decade that I must do this for My sanity and My health.
I lost my job With Dollar General in January 2026 after being a part-time key holder for almost 2 years, 6 weeks shy of 2 years. And if any of you have ever worked in retail, be it fast food or whatever. I was on my 6th store manager, my 4th District Manager and I lost count of my Regional managers ( My memory is horrible after 3 strokes) if you've had a stroke, you know how hard it is to come back from that. I mentioned earlier that I have Type 1 diabetes( if you have, or you have a close family member that lives with this horrid disease ) you have an idea of what my life has been like for the last 38 years.
This past week I have had an eye opening experience and the pleasure of taking a Bookkeeping Class from a individual that has had
a successful Booming Bookkeeping Business, for the last 13 years. He is a Wall Street Joural Bestseller Book and helped over 8,000 people build a Bookkeeping Business.
I am asking for help with the Mentorship Program that he offers. The Mentorship program is $5,000.
I know I have the ability and a desire to thrive in this industry.
