Our son, John W "Jay" Clark IV proved his love for this country by swearing an oath of true faith and allegiance to our constitution when, at 19 years old, he proudly enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.
Jay steadfastly kept that oath through multiple combat deployments where he sustained injuries that eventually left him permanently disabled. He now, almost 4 years after the fact, is accused of breaking that oath when he peacefully exercised his constitutional rights on January 6, 2021. On that day he did what he always does: respected the rule of law and followed all directions issued by law enforcement. At no time was he violent in any way. He even assisted with administering first aid to the injured.
The Constitution of the United States informs Jay's whole life, which makes the charges leveled against him all the more egregious and unbelievable. He is innocent and we need help to prove it in court.
Please help us mount Jay's legal defense and assist him in complying with all the conditions set forth by the courts. Any amount you are able to give will be greatly appreciated.
Kindly keep us in your prayers and may God please to bless us all and the United States of America.
