Saturday, July 23rd, was supposed to be a fun-filled family day with Andy, his fiance Clair daughter Lilly and son Andrew JR. At 8 am, Andy got up to cook breakfast for the family when grabbing a cooler from the trunk and was struck by another car pinning him between the two vehicles. By the luck of God, there happened to be an EMT at the campsite next to them who heard the crash and was came to help immediately. They quickly got him to regions hospital, where he underwent emergency surgeries. It's amazing with how hard he was struck that he is still here with us today, but unfortunately, he has a long road ahead of him and will likely not be able to work again for 3-6 months. This has left Andy and his family in a terrible situation. Clair will not be able to work as often because Andy needs around-the-clock help, and mounting medical bills and other everyday bills will begin to pile up. Lilly and AJ have school coming up Andy needs medical equipment these are all things I am watching take a toll on them quickly. Andy will never admit that he needs help or ever ask anyone but his family needs any help they can get. Please, every dollar will help and if you can't donate please share this and hopefully we can help this family get through this unfortunate event that has turned thier world upside down.

Andy is back home he has an infection in his lungs but should be just fine with medication. He was able to get a wheel chair yesterday so getting around should be a little bit easier .
Tonight was another setback for Andy as he was rushed to the hospital after not feeling well most of the day and then started having trouble breathing. They have him in CT scan now and we are waiting for an update. Please keep their family in your prayers tonight. 
Andy is on day 3 of being at home; last night was a tough one. The pain from his crushed legs seems almost too much, and he can't even sleep. Thank you to everyone who had brought food, those who have reached out to see how he is doing, and everyone who is keeping him in their prayers. It's going to be a long road for the family, and they are still just getting started on this journey.
