At Hampton Cove Middle School, our STEAM team is more than just a group of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders; we are future innovators, problem-solvers, and leaders who share a deep love for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM). Through these disciplines, we’ve taken on some of the toughest challenges in competitions like Future City, FTC Robotics, Greenpower F24 Racing, Science Olympiad, and the Technology Student Association (TSA).
This past year, our team has not just participated—we’ve excelled. We earned the Top Middle School award at the Alabama Technology Student Association, brought home trophies from the TSA Nationals, and, for the first time, qualified for the Greenpower F24 National Championship at Talladega Superspeedway. These accomplishments are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, who are eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
But we’re not stopping here. As we prepare for another exciting year in 2024-2025, we’re calling on you to help us continue this journey. Our team is growing, and so are our needs. To compete at the highest levels, we require funding for materials, competition fees, travel expenses, and the tools necessary to keep our momentum going.
