The Miss America Opportunity is so much more than a pageant. Because of this organization, I’ve earned scholarships that helped me pursue my dream of becoming a first responder, and I’m now just weeks away from becoming a nationally registered EMT. Those scholarships didn’t just help pay for school—they helped shape my future.
Along the way, I’ve found confidence I never knew I had, learned how to tell my story, strengthened my interview and public speaking skills, and discovered a passion for serving my community that continues to grow every day.
When I first started competing, I never imagined the impact this organization would have on my life. It created a snowball effect that led me to emergency medicine, inspired me to create Mav’s Mission, and gave me the confidence to use my voice for causes I care deeply about.
I truly don’t know where I’d be without the opportunities this organization has given me, and for that, I will always be grateful.
