Hi, my name is Allie Green. In April, I went to a state leadership conference. At this conference my team had to make a project and we decided to focus on Child Education. We wrote a speech, created a project board, and presented everything to 3 judges. For our project, we offered to watch all of the teachers’ children during the parent teacher conference day at my school. The day was filled with planned activities that we organized and put together. Some of the activities that we included were making play dough, soccer, reading books, and made from scratch pizzas. The kids loved their time and the teachers were 100% satisfied with the experience from the post survey we sent out with two kids asking to come back for another fun day at the school.
We were extremely excited when it was announced that we had gotten 2nd place qualifying us for the National Leadership Conference! Only first and second place of each category qualifies. This conference is hosted in Orlando, Florida.
P.S. You might already know this, but Orlando is the home of Disney World and we are including this in our time down there - I am super excited about this!
