If you've ever wondered how much a home can change a child's life, we're living that reality every day.
Our family has one simple dream: to give our son, Joshua ("Joshie"), a home where he can truly thrive.
Joshua is an amazing little boy with ongoing medical and developmental needs. He faces medical, sensory, and emotional challenges on a daily basis that make his environment incredibly important. Every doorway, every room, every sound, and every space affects his ability to feel safe, learn, grow, and experience the world around him.
Right now, we own a mobile home that no longer meets his needs. While we have been renting it out while we live with family so we can focus on getting Joshua healthy, we are beginning to plan for our next steps!
Our goal is to sell our trailer by 4/15/27, so we can purchase a modest home that will provide the accessibility, stability, and safe spaces he deserves.
Rather than asking for one large donation, we're taking a different approach.
Each day, we make micro-payments based on engagement with our social media posts that are aimed to increase the visibility of our mobile home online. That means that the more people who see, like, comment on, and share our posts, the more potential buyers our home reaches. We truly believe that the right buyer is out there. We just have to help them find us.
Ultimately, as a special education teacher and a supply chain technician, we can’t pay that 63 thousand dollar loan overnight. That's where this fundraiser comes in.
Whether you give $1, $5, $20, or simply share our story, you're helping us continue a daily effort to find a buyer, lower what we need as an asking price, and helping us move one step closer to bringing Joshie home.
This isn't about buying a bigger house.
It's about buying the right home.
A home where Joshie has room to safely play, learn, regulate, and simply be a kid. A home with a fenced in yard where he can run and explore freely without the constant fear of elopement. A home where we can continue supporting his therapies, celebrate every milestone, and make memories together as a family.
