In the early morning hours on Saturday, December 16, 2023, the Billings Police Department issued a public statement that a single vehicle rollover accident claimed the lives of 4 teenagers aged 14-18 years. 

Tragically, Mikaylee, the daughter of Kari Reiter and Tom Reiter,  passed away in this wreck. 

Mikaylee was a "spark plug" and ran, not walked, to the beat of her own drum. She was incredibly funny and loved to laugh. She brought joy in to every room she walked in to, was a good friend and loved her family. 

And now, they must say goodbye. 

Funerals are hard. Period. They are hard when you are saying goodbye to a loved one who has lived a long life. To bury a child, your child, is unfathomable. 

Mikaylee was just 14 and she had her whole life ahead of her. 

This was not something anyone saw coming nor prepared for. It was an accident that is now resulting in a funeral to celebrate Mikaylee's life.
