If you are or have ever been part of the travel baseball community, I imagine you've wondered, at least once or twice, how many amazing young players with a true love for baseball are being left out due to a lack of access, funds, transport, the means of all kinds that contribute to a young ballplayer having the travel opportunity. We are forming an 11u Strikers team (through our local Gompers Park Athletic Association) for the 2024 season and would love to be able to offer fee waivers or scholarship opportunities to potential players who might not otherwise have considered playing an option. If your 10/11 year old kid LOVES the sport and is hungry for an opportunity to play more games, get more practice and training, and be part of a great baseball community, but you can't necessarily afford to drop a heavy chunk of change on travel ball fees, please consider trying out for this team. If you've been fortunate enough to be looking for a way to support youth and their love of baseball, please considering donating to the scholarship fund. Thank you and may you always enjoy the game.
