++ Want to join the exclusive early playtesting and secure lifetime access but missed the Kickstarter? We’ll extend this opportunity for Spotfund contributions: $30 for lifetime access and $75 to join early access playtesting. Your early involvement is not just appreciated—it's pivotal. Thank you.

Melody Quest is a digital playground that provides an easily accessible way for children to engage with the fundamentals of music.

In The Kingdom of Badaboom, we don't fight-- we jam. Rhythm is the heart! Be the hero, Kisa, who uses instruments to reunite the Kingdom of Badaboom and rediscover the joy of music.

Play rhythms with baboons and melodies with birds to level up your character, gain special abilities, and reach the boss. Progression is based on learned skills, a structure familiar to gamers— but with a twist: traditional weapon-based combat is replaced with instrument-based jamming.

A measure of music with 4 beats is represented as a circle divided into 4 sections [one beat at every 90 degrees], with musical time progressing clockwise. This framework can accommodate complex rhythms while combining visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning.

Students will experience accelerated improvements in two-hand coordination, rhythmic awareness, and ear training that are applicable to ALL instruments.

Music is a universal language that engages the imagination and builds confidence in creative expression, two essential elements of life. Neuroscientists have proven the significant impacts music learning has on brain development, most notably in children under 12 years old.

I've spent the past decade helping my students turn on their musical light through personal lessons. Unfortunately, young learners often seem more interested in practicing violent video games than their instruments.

Cameron Radke, Founder + Creative Director, lives in San Diego, California. Cameron has over a decade of experience teaching music to students of all ages. He also leads a San Diego-based band blending Americana, Grateful Dead, and Bluegrass-influenced high-energy tunes.

Jean Cheung, Chief Technology Officer/ InnoFlops Games, lives in Barcelona and leads a team of ten artists and programmers worldwide in Canada, Mexico, and New Zealand.

Advances in smartphone computing power allow for real-time interaction and immersive 3D worlds to be accessible anywhere, most notably in developing countries. For families who can't afford an instrument or lessons, Melody Quest serves as a gateway for children to fall in love with music and get a head start.
This is why the base version of our game will be free on the App Store, with fuller and deeper experiences available with our “Jam Pass”. In-game Ads is not a route we are currently exploring, as we believe it reduces the attention span of young players and ruins the immersive experience.

When you support the team making Melody Quest, YOU allow us to continue this work of creating a pathway and an outlet for children to fall in love with music. Thank you
