In a moment when words fail to grasp the enormity of loss, I write to you with a heavy heart. My name is Gloria, and I am reaching out after the sudden passing of my twin sister, Christian Faith Madison. At just 29 years old, Christian was an irreplaceable light in our lives, and her untimely departure on June 9th, 2025, has left us drowning in grief and uncertainty. We are in need of raising $15,000 to support her family—her mother, four siblings, and children—through these trying times.
Christian was a beacon of kindness and warmth, known for her exceptional intelligence, boundless love, and unparalleled empathy. She had a remarkable gift; her love for people shone through her every action. She often spent time with her son, siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her empathy, understanding, and intelligence were unmatched, and she treated everyone as an equal. Her life was characterized by her loving nature and enthusiasm, her career as a softball rockstar, her career as a CPA Accountant, and her passions for people, communication, and psychology.
Christian often made and did loving things for the family. She used her sewing machine to make cloth diapers for her nephews, Gabriel and Elliot, a blanket and an outfit for her niece, Scarlet, and a blanket and nursing pads for me, her twin sister, Gloria. She loved finer fabrics and paid a lot of attention to detail. She spent her spare income on the finest clothes and toys for her son, Eli, and also on outfits and pageant dresses for her nieces, Riley and Evie. She invested not just in material things, but in the emotional well-being of her family, always prioritizing quality time and meaningful conversations.
Christian helped everyone she knew feel heard and understood, and she helped others understand themselves better. In her spare time, she would talk on the phone for hours with me and our sister, Nicky, or she would go next door and spend quality time with our sister, Mary. She was brilliant with her words and knew the value of communicating compassionately. Where I saw endless possibilities, she showed me the ones that truly mattered. Because of her, I learned to sit still with people's pain, to listen not just with ears, by my heart.
Christian showed up with her best to everything she did, including softball and volleyball. She made home runs look easy, and had a left arm that threw like a cannon. Her favorite number was 13. She received a softball scholarship to Snead State college, and she continued to hit many home runs afterward in recreational slow-pitch softball. Standing at 5' 11", she also had a strong spike in volleyball. Her athletic career was marked by her exceptional skill and talent.
Christian had high expectations for herself, and excelled in anything she did, including in her academic and professional careers. She was in Locust Fork High School Honor Society and graduated at the top of her class. She earned a Bachelors Degree in Business in less than 4 years, and she obtained her CPA license to be a certified Accountant shortly after for many years. In her most recent years, she spent most of her time pursuing her interests in Myers-Briggs and Carl Jung Psychology, and following a new career path.
Christian was very interested in getting to know people down to their core values and principles. Her latest passion was Myers-Briggs and Carl Jung Psychology, which is a passion that we both shared. She really wanted to understand people's personality and behavior, so that she could empathize and communicate on more effectively on a deeper level. The one thing I will remember most about her, is how she loved big.
