My divorce (which is still pending) has left me in a terrible place financially and I am at risk of losing my apartment where I live with my 16 year old daughter. My ex left me owing over 45k in rent which sadly I was unaware of at the time. I have paid off a lot but have had trouble keeping up with the payoffs and current rent. I am just trying to keep a roof over our heads and not let my daughter know the extent of the situation. I have tried to get loans unsuccessfully and this is my last resort. It’s extremely difficult for me to ask for help on this level but I am out of options.
