Hello friends. I’m writing on behalf of my friend of 30 plus years.
Her living situation has become dire. She is one month behind on rent, and the property mgmt company has given her until the end of the month to pay, or she will be evicted.
She's had a rough go where's she's currently at in life, sadly like a lot of us, and has needed things to change for a long time. But because of physical disabilities (severe scoliosis, advanced arthritis in her hips, and bursitis in her shoulders) / no income / bad credit, she hasn't had a way to get out of the situation.
She is married, but the situation is unstable; she has got to start fending for herself and taking care of her son on her own; he does have learning and behavior disabilities, which complicates her position even further.
She just recently found a work-from-home opportunity that will help her stand on her own two feet, but, she has to do training first. Meaning she won't have an income coming in for a few weeks at best.
So I am asking, please, for anyone who can help her and her son, to please do so. She is so close to finally being able to make a change for her and her son, but if they become homeless in the next week, all of that progress will be lost; she can't work from home without a home, or without internet connection. They also don't have anywhere to go if that does happen (both of her parents have passed on, and her siblings are not in a position to help).
If we could get enough people to help with even $5-$10, it all adds up and anything will make a big difference!
She's not asking for a handout - she's the type of person who will pay anything back that's given to her - but she really needs a hand-up right now!
