Help 400 Children Build Healthy, Active Lives
Every child deserves the chance to succeed—not just in the classroom, but through movement, play, and physical activity.
This school year, I have the privilege of teaching approximately 400 Pre-K through 4th grade students at Western Heights Public Schools in Oklahoma City. Our students are bright, resilient, and eager to learn. Yet 94% of them qualify for free or reduced-price meals, and many have limited opportunities to participate in organized sports or recreational activities outside of school.
For many of these children, physical education is much more than a class. It's a place to build confidence, learn teamwork, develop motor skills, discover healthy habits, and experience the joy of being active.
To provide the best possible instruction, I am raising funds to purchase the SPARK Physical Education Curriculum for Early Childhood, K–2, and Grades 3–6. SPARK is a nationally recognized, evidence-based curriculum that gives students engaging, age-appropriate lessons while helping teachers create meaningful learning experiences for every child.
These curriculum materials will benefit hundreds of students year after year. Your donation isn't just purchasing books and lesson plans—it's investing in healthier children, stronger communities, and opportunities that can last a lifetime.
Whether you can give $10, $25, $50, or simply share this fundraiser with others, every act of generosity helps bring this goal within reach.
Thank you for believing in our students and for helping provide them with the tools they need to move, learn, grow, and thrive. Together, we can make a lasting difference for the 400 children who will walk into my gym this year.
