The test results we received today indicate the cancer is in stage 3.
My name is Julia, and I am reaching out on behalf of my husband, Alex. He is not only the loving father of our one-year-old son, but also the sole provider for our family. Recently, our world was turned upside down when Alex was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer.
Alex works as a contractor, which means he does not have the security of health insurance or paid time off. While we are grateful that his cancer was caught early, the treatments and procedures ahead will require time away from work. This not only brings unexpected medical expenses but also the added stress of making sure our household is cared for while Alex focuses on his recovery.
