Hey everybody!
I’m starting this fund to ensure I am able to do everything in my power to give my dog the level of care I know he would give me.
For those of you that know Toma, you know how truly one of a kind he is. For those of you that don’t know him, he could use your blessings right now. The past month has been a whirlwind of vet visits trying to narrow down what is wrong with him, leading to today- going back to confirm cancer in his spleen. This fund is to sponsor Toma’s oncology and end of life care.
I adopted Toma on December 22nd 2016 from the Front street animal shelter in Sacramento. He immediately went on to change my life. He built my patience and showed me true unconditional love. About a month after his adoption Toma would up at the VCA with an obstruction, My dedication to Toma then was the same as it is now- I maxed out all my credit cards and opened up a care credit account with my then girlfriend to afford his complicated emergency surgery.
Here we are 8 years later and faced with a scary diagnosis of lymphoma. Because of my helicopter parenting I am hoping we have caught it in the early stages. After more tests today we will know more. Looking to hopefully get him on a course of chemotherapy ASAP.
After a few rough financial years, I am not able to pull the same reality together without your help. As I await a new credit line from Care Credit I come here to secure the funds for Toma’s immediate care and future end of life plans.
I have taken excess time off work this month to make sure I am by Toma’s side to care for him in his time of need and discomfort and could use your help to make sure the funds are there to do anything and everything I can for my best friend, son, life companion that had helped me through the last 8 years on this earth.
