I am a single mom to a beautiful 9 year old daughter. She is the light of my life.
My daughter and I have been going through a pretty difficult year. I lost my job earlier this year. I was not out of work long but long enough to get over a month behind on all of my bills. This has been incredibly difficult to catch back up on while trying to stay on top of incoming bills.
I do now have a steady job and work 40 hours a week plus any overtime I can secure.
I am currently behind on rental payments, all utilities, and my phone bill. We also desperately need groceries and basic provisions.
I did get paid last week the entirety of my paycheck went to rent to try and avoid any further late fees. It did not cover all that was owed and I did end up accruing more late fees. I get paid again next Friday and will not have a dollar to my name until then. That paycheck is already allocated to bills and outstanding payments needed.
I am hopefully with just a little bit more hard work and discipline we can get over this hump.
My goal is to pay what is owed so I can focus on what is actively needed like taking my daughter to the grocery store and present bills.
I am asking the community who has a heart for little families like mine for that last bit of assistance in getting us back on track.
