My friend Kaila’s cat Valentine is in need of an emergency uterine surgery. Kaila was at job training and Valentine got sick. As soon as she got home she took Valentine to the vet. She was informed she has a uterine infection and will need emergency surgery. Valentine is her child, her familiar.

”I have been struggling for a while and I finally got a new job/ career and i was supper excited. I tried this particular job once before but I wasn’t successful. Now I went away to training for about a month (3.5 weeks) to get certified and get all my credentials in order for my new career. While I was gone i left my baby Valentine in the care of my grandmother, who didn’t take the job seriously bcz I’ve been struggling I wasn’t able to get her spayed but that was one of the first things i wanted to do when i got back just bcz i knew her risks of cancer and stuff were super high without getting her parts removed. When i got back Wednesday night i could tell something was off with her but I assumed she just didn’t like me bcz i was gone so long. She threw up twice and hasn’t eaten much for 2 days and had been so lethargic so i brought her to the vet, thinking she drank bad water or something bcz of the neglectful behavior from my trusted family member. They brought her back ‘momentarily’ to just check her vitals and monitor her condition but shortly after being separated from my baby the nurse came back to inform me that she’s running a high fever and she has a uterine infection that’s gonna require 4,000$ surgery on top of the already expensive urgent care fees.”
