To all my friends and family I come to you to help a friend of mine. To protect his privacy I have his dog that I took in as the picture. My young friend (29) was on hospice but currently in the hospital. He will be discharging either today or tomorrow. However, he is now homeless and no where to go. He was on charity hospice and staying at an apartment that he was going to be forcibly remove through eviction. We had to take him to the hospital because he was increasingly weak, falling, confused and living by himself. APS was notified of his living situation and we have been working with them. We now know why he is confused, his disease has progressed to his brain. He has no one to take him in. I’m reaching out in the hopes to put him in an extended stay hotel close to me while we apply for disability, medicaid, and any other public assistance he qualifies for. The goal is we can hopefully get him into a facility. If you know of any other help he can get please reach out. I have his permission to talk about his disease but don’t fell comfortable putting it on the internet. Some people are cruel. Please reach out to me if you need more information.
Prayers are always appreciated and needed because it is only through his strength and answered prayers I have been able to get him some help so far. Please pray for him, his sister, myself and APS to be able to get him somewhere safe.
His dog also needs help. He is blind, no teeth, and can’t hear well. I will also be using money to take him to vet for check up and any vaccines. He definitely needs some grooming too.
