The best friend I have ever had was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer. Her cancer has spread to one lymph node that we know of and she is currently going through more testing to make sure it hasn't spread anywhere else. She is going to start chemotherapy and radiation soon as well as some other treatments. Before Megan found out about her diagnosis she was forced from her job that she loved so dearly working with elderly people because of an injury in her back. She was unable to work. They told her she would need surgery and she could not return to her job. While waiting for surgery she found out she has cancer.
My best friend has always had one dream and that is to have a child of her own. From the day I met her that has been all she has wanted. Megan only has a short time before she starts her treatment and has to freeze her eggs now because the treatment could taint her eggs forever. She may never be able to carry her own child although I pray she does, but this way she could have the possibility of a biology child if she is unable to conceive herself. The goal of this go fund me is to raise as much money for Megan for her treatment as possible and for her to freeze her eggs. we don't have a lot of time so this is out of desperation. I know this is a tight time for everyone but if we can give her this gift it would truly be a miracle for her. Thank you friends. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
