My name is Cameron, I'm a disabled veteran and this is one of the most difficult things I've ever had to do. I'm reaching out because I'm fighting for my life and my future. I'm struggling with addiction, and after years of trying to manage on my own, I know I need help. I found a facility in Austin, Texas called The Ranch. It's a place that's been recognized for its success, with only 14 beds and a program tailored specifically for men like me. After a lot of prayer and soul-searching, I truly believe this is where I have the best chance to recover and rebuild my life.
I've been to larger rehab centers before, but the treatment there wasn't personalized, and I didn't get what I needed to truly heal. The Ranch is different, and I feel hopeful for the first time in a long while. I know I've hurt people in my life and burned bridges because of my addiction, and asking for help is incredibly hard for me. But I can't do this alone. The cost of the program and travel to Austin is more than I can manage by myself, and time is running out before the beds fill up. I don't want to leave the people I love without a fight, but I need support to make this happen.
I'm putting myself out there and being vulnerable because I want to live. If you can help in any way, it would mean everything to me. As soon as I have the funds, I will update everyone with photos and proof that your support is going directly to my recovery. Thank you for reading my story, for your prayers, and for any help you can give. I pray that God guides this journey and brings hope back into my life.
