Hello, my name is Nolwazi, and I am currently a student at Millersville University. I grew up in a children's home located in Eswatini, and as they say, every child's most cherished day of the year is Christmas.
I fondly recall the joyous celebrations of my childhood, where we all gathered for a special meal during Christmas. It was a time filled with laughter, shared meals, and the excitement of receiving candies and small gifts. Those moments created the best memories of Christmas for us.
However, this year, El-Shaddai Children's Home is facing financial constraints, and they are unable to provide that one significant meal that holds so much meaning for the children—a tradition that only happens once a year.
They say everyone has that one heartfelt wish for Christmas, and for me, it's to raise $1000 to ensure that the children at El-Shaddai Children's Home can have a special meal this Christmas. I believe that every child deserves to experience the warmth and joy of the holiday season.
