Help Cassie Save Tonka: A Lifesaving Cause

💔 An Update on Tonka and a Continued Plea for Help 💔

It is with heavy hearts that we share that Tonka has lost her battle with pneumonia and has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

As if that heartbreak wasn't enough, Cassie also recently had to say goodbye to her other beloved dog, Samson. In a matter of days, she experienced the unimaginable loss of two cherished members of her family.

Cassie did everything she could for Tonka, moving forward with emergency treatment, oxygen therapy, and hospitalization in hopes of saving her best friend. While Tonka's fight ultimately came to an end, the medical bills remain. The unexpected expenses have left Cassie with thousands of dollars in veterinary debt and payment plans that she is still struggling to manage.

For those who may not know Cassie, she has spent years caring for others. As a Home Health RN, she has dedicated her career to helping patients in need. She has also volunteered at Maricopa County Animal Care & Control for more than three years and has opened her home to foster dogs for Rescue Street Rescue and Dogs Day Out, helping countless animals find safety, healing, and love.
