Our family is asking for help for Saturn’s brother , Levi who is 2 years old and is in the hospital fighting Gillian-Barré Syndrome. He has been in the hospital since April 15. The virus is attacking his spine. He has undergone 2 lumbar punctures, MRI’s has had IV antibiotics, steroids and now undergoing 5 treatments of Plasmapheresis to fight this extremely aggressive and painful virus He has limited use of his arms and legs as they are extremely weak and he is unable to walk, stand or sit up without assistance. He has daily physical therapy to help him regain motion and strength in his limbs.
Levi’s mom has been by his side 24/7 and has been unable to work in order to be with Levi. Levi’s dad is working and visiting when he can however , as we all know this is a huge financial strain and will be for a long time to come. If you can find it in your heart to keep him in your prayers and if you can spare anything financially it will be greatly appreciated.
