As most of you know by now, Marc has been in the hospital since September 23rd fighting for his life after a trip to the emergency room led to finding out he has colon cancer that has spread to his liver.
He was admitted to the hospital to get ready for colon surgery but a few days later, Marc aspirated, developed pneumonia, and was put on a ventilator for nearly two weeks. During this time Andrea was told he would not survive and to prepare for the the unthinkable.
On October 8th, Marc miraculously came off the ventilator and had surgery to remove the cancer from his colon on October 13th. He is so strong and working hard to recover, but there is a long road ahead of him. He will soon need to undergo more treatment for the cancer when his body is strong enough.
In addition to the increasing medical expenses, Andrea has been out of work caring for Marc and the financial aspect of continued treatment and care is growing.
They have provided tireless support and friendship to so many people over the years, we all hope to ease the burden on them by relieving some financial pressure as they focus on Marc's health and negotiate the tremendous costs alongside the obvious physical and emotional strains.
Marc and Andrea are both so grateful for all the continued prayers and support throughout this journey and as they navigate the next steps.
