Hello! My name is Liz and I am hoping that you can help my best friend Erica and her precious son Sean. Erica has been a special education teacher for 17 years and has a PhD in special education leadership. She noticed that Sean was not meeting all of his milestones. She enrolled Sean in her towns public school pre-school disabled program. He started the program last May when he turned three. Unfortunately, the program does not benefit Sean. Sean has not made any significant progress in the program. Erica has spent thousands of dollars already getting services (speech, PT, social groups, etc.) that her town is not providing for Sean. She took her town to mediation in hopes to get Sean into a better program outside of the town. She lost the mediation and now must take her towns public school system to court just to get Sean the appropriate free education that he deserves. Erica is paying for all of these bills on her own. Please help Erica pay for a lawyer to take the school district to court and send Sean to a school where he can learn and grow.
