In a world where helping others has been my guiding principle, I find myself at a crossroads. For nearly 23 years, I dedicated my career to the TSA, joining in the aftermath of 9/11 with a commitment to serve and protect. Moving from Cleveland to Pittsburgh, I grew into the leader I aspired to be, fighting for the rights of my colleagues as a union president. Stripped of my ability to advocate and forced back into a role that no longer fulfilled me, I spiraled into a place of emotional and physical turmoil. In April, I resigned from my career, because I could no longer continue doing something that was making me miserable. Despite my passion for helping and my proven leadership, the bureaucratic barriers have made it exceedingly difficult to transition into a new career. I'm reaching out for your support as I chart this uncertain journey. With experience in union leadership and a drive to support others, I'm searching for roles in human resources, eager to transfer my skills to continue making a difference. Yet, without a degree, each application seems to end with another rejection. Your contribution can be instrumental in bridging this daunting gap. It will aid me in gaining further qualifications or provide the necessary resources for relocating to new job opportunities. Every message of support, every donation, no matter the size, brings me a step closer to regaining my footing and reigniting my purpose. Please consider supporting my journey. Together, we can navigate this path and help me turn a new page where I can continue to do what I love—support and advocate for those around me. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
