As you know, we have all been impacted by Covid 19 on so many different levels from financial, emotional, and physical just to name a few. Island club and Spa has had its own challenges being forced closed for over 8 months by the government mandates, subject to the vaccine mandates since September and the mask mandates all while still having lease, insurance and other obligations and expenses. Covid has disrupted business to say the least.
Meanwhile Island Club and Spa team members continue to fight and push forward to ensure that we can be the “third place” for our members where they can stay healthy, build their immune systems and reduce stress.
Because each person has been impacted differently, I am not comfortable raising our annual fee or our monthly dues at this time although our costs continue to increase such as towels, energy, insurance, payroll etc.
After speaking to a few Members and considering this for an extended amount of time, I have decided to create the Island Club and Spa Covid Recovery Fund. This is an optional opportunity for our Members to support the Club with a donation of $50 or more. If you can donate, please do. If you cannot that is Ok also. Better times will come!
