Hello my name is Roger Bingaman and my wife is Stacy bingaman and my children are Roger Bingaman the third, Kierra bingaman and Chase bingaman. I am 47 years old I was a police officer for 13 years and I love my job one day I got dispatched to do a house check for a intruder as I walked around the house I slipped on ice fell on my butt and slid down a  steep hill and smashed into a metal box I reported it immediately to my sergeant he did not tell me I had to fill out any papers I went home in approximately 2 weeks later I woke up and could not feel my legs my sons had to carry me do the car I went to the doctor he gave me a shot and a few hours I was able to fill my legs again and start walking I immediately called my chief to report everything that was going on the chief talked to the sergeant the sergeant said I never reported it and that I never filled out the paperwork (he was lying) because of that the chief said there was nothing he could do about it I called an attorney the attorney said pretty much the exact same thing there was nothing that could be done. Now I suffer from chronic back pain and severe migraines in which I get at least two a week sometimes more they put me down for most of the day when they do go away I am nauseous and very weak. I spoke with a surgeon in which he recommended surgery but said that there is a chance I would never walk again and there is a 50% chance that the surgery would not work so at this point I'm not inclined to do the surgery So I applied for disability which has been a long ongoing process and still seems like it's going to be quite some time I have borrowed money off of everybody I can borrow money off of and now it's at the point where nobody has any more to lend me so now I'm at risk of losing my house having my lights shut off and everything else shut off my wife suffers from lupus and chronic fatigue syndrome and bipolar so she spends most of her day in bed because of the pain and the stiffness so neither one of us can work to bring in any money. To top everything off recently our car blew up so now we have no transportation we have to borrow cars. If money was given to me and my family I would use the money to keep my house pay my bills hopefully get a car and gas money to get to me and my wife's doctor's appointments.
