Jordan is 23 years old. He is a valued and dedicated employee at his job and a friend to all. His friends love his goofy outgoing personality, his not so appropriate jokes, the huge smile he greets them with, and his all around determination to get through any situation. He makes everyone laugh. Jordan enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out at the gym, motorcycles, and relaxing with a video game after a long day. Unfortunately now his lifestyle has changed drastically. On Tuesday May 31st while doing yard work Jordan was cutting down a tree branch that was under pressure. The tree branch came down and hit him in the thigh, he figured he was fine and went on with his day. Later on Jordan couldn't move his leg much and was having trouble walking on it so he went to the ER. Jordan told the ER about the incident with the tree and they noticed that his legs were retaining fluid so they got him all checked out and his leg was fine other than a blood blister. What the doctors did discover was that Jordan's kidneys had completely shut down. Jordans diagnosis is IgA Nephropathy a.k.a Berger's disease. This is a type of kidney disease where IgA (antibodys) deposits build up in the kidneys, causing inflammation that damages kidney tissues. After nearly A week and a half in the hospital Jordan is home and doing much better. He is receiving dialysis until he is able to get a new kidney. Jordan is out of work until at least December and the disability paperwork is still going to take some time, he's currently been out of work for over 2 weeks. Please help us raise money to help Jordan with bills, groceries, medical expenses, and travel to his treatments and appointments. Your help and support means everything!!!

*Even when Jordan is able to return to work it will be part time. His dialysis treatments are 3 days a week for 4 hours each time. Finding a kidney may be difficult with his A-Negative blood type, only an average of 6.3% of the U.S population share this blood type.
