I was in a hit and run accident on Christmas in 2022 following my first semester at college. This accident was not my fault but they still deemed it my fault because I was unaware my insurance had lapsed because I had never received any notification or had my car repossessed in the nearly six months it wasn't insured. I was more focused on visiting my family and starting school which is why i totally spaced it. This accident caused me to lose my financial aid and despite sending multiple appeals including documents they did not give my aid back. My tuition is $5000 per semester not including meal plans or housing. I have been in unstable living conditions since my boyfriend and I were evicted from our apartment in January. I had to move states so we could keep our dog Yami but unfortunately he ended up passing in April after getting bone cancer. My mom had me move in with her but unfortunately this has only led to more instability because her abusive ex got worse after I moved in and now we are struggling to keep our house. My mom is selling her house and its going to leave me w nowhere to go. Please help me find stability. All of my stuff is here in a storage unit that only my boyfriend and his dad have access to and I cant live like this anymore. I have a senior dog and will need to find my own student apartment within walking distance of my university and have a way to make money from home so i have been doing what I can to get monetized on youtube and twitch since we have finaly reached the creator fund on tiktok. This is easily one of the worst things that has ever happened to me and I would really appreciate it if you can spare just $1 to help me find stable housing, buy a used car, afford my dogs vet bills and go back to college to finish my biotechnology degree. Once I finish my degree my goal is to go to med school or complete a graduate program in Biomedical Engineering.
