Meet my dear friends Will and Elizabeth Hays. Will was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer... When Elizabeth called me with this news, I was in complete disbelief. I told her the doctors had to have it all wrong. Let me tell you some things about my friend.. He is young, active and a father to 3 kids. Will is a Marine and a Detective with the Tulsa Police Department. 3 months ago he was strong and healthy and this is the last thing I thought I would be writing. He is a public servant at heart. He is always the first to help out friends, family, strangers and the community. He works every single year to raise money for toys for tots by putting on a haunted house at his home, making only toy donations the ticket for admission. It is difficult for someone who is always doing things for others to accept help... so that's why I am setting this up for them. I have personally seen the stacks of medical bills that are already piling up and he just started a fight for his life. My only thought was how do they expect you to stay positive, keep stress levels low, go to treatments, recover from treatments all while paying thousands and thousands in medical bills. It seems like such an unfair battle for one family to fight alone. They could use anything you feel led to give, and prayers are more than appreciated. Thank you.
