Update:
Today (4.29.25) Butter got her dental X ray and cleaning. The vets found the cause of her gum inflammation, tooth resorption. She has to have 6 teeth surgically removed. That raises the procedures price by another 900$.
I updated the goal and am thankful for everyone's help and support of Butter and I. All I want is for her to feel better and have no pain or discomfort.

Hi, my name is Aster, and I’m an international student studying 3D Character Animation in the U.S.
I’m raising funds to cover essential vet care for my best friend and companion, Buttercup.

For over a year, my vets and I have been monitoring persistent gum inflammation that hasn’t improved despite consistent brushing, supplements, and dental additives. After many efforts, my vets have recommended a professional dental cleaning under anesthesia to help prevent further complications.
My biggest fear is that, if left untreated, her condition could worsen to the point of needing extractions. Buttercup is only two years old and means everything to me. Right now, she’s happy and pain-free, and I want to keep it that way—ensuring she can enjoy her meals without discomfort.
Any help toward her care would mean the world to us. Thank you for reading and for any support you can give!
