Last Saturday was a tough day for the Penney’s when their beloved Simba, a six-year-old golden doodle, suddenly lost the use of the right side of his body. It was heartbreaking to see him struggling, but the support and quick actions of those around them gave them hope. Simba is now in good hands at Blue Pearl in Louisville, Texas, undergoing important tests to understand how they can help him heal and get back to his joyful self.
Simba has been a ray of sunshine in their home, bringing laughter and companionship every single day. As we navigate through his medical journey, we are focused on the positive road ahead. With the funds we are raising, we aim to cover his medical bills and ensure he receives the best care possible, giving him a strong chance to bounce back.
Being in Wichita Falls, we've always felt the warmth of our community, and the encouragement we've already received has been uplifting.
