I have what is called Acanthamoeba keratitis, it is a parasite in the cornea that eats it's way through the layers of the cornea and can make a person blind. Because of this I have extreme pain and am light sensitive, on top of not being able to open my eye. The treatment is getting expensive and I need a little help to pay my rent. I am at the UI hospital at least twice a week and have been offered by my treating physician to be admitted as the pain can be quite bad. Any and all help would be appreciated!
