My name is Peju and I am reaching out for support on behalf of my sister, Abiola Adamolekun Bradshaw and her family.
Abiola is a bright light in the lives of everyone who knows her. A devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished member of her church community, Abiola is the kind of woman who always puts others first. Whether she’s working alongside her husband Kevin in their family-run cleaning business, caring for their beautiful daughter Lola, or spreading joy through her warm smile and unwavering faith, Abiola’s presence lifts and inspires everyone around her. I can personally say that she is always there for me.
Now, my dear sister and her family needs our help.
Abiola was detained by ICE in August 2025, leaving her husband and daughter devastated and facing tremendous emotional and financial hardship. Her absence has put an enormous strain on the family—not only emotionally, but also financially—as she was a key figure in both her household and their small business.
We are launching this fundraiser to:
Help cover legal fees for an immigration attorney to fight for Abiola’s release
Support the family with living expenses, child care, and business support during this incredibly difficult time
Abiola is a woman of deep compassion and strength who has always been there for others. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.

Update as of 4/19/2026: Thank you to everyone who has prayed for Abiola and her family and sent a financial blessing of support to help bring her home. It has been nearly 8 months since Abiola was detained by ICE which is unbelievable. We are on a mission to get her out of detention and the horrible conditions of the facility which is 7 hours away from Houston. As an update, Abiola was able to fully pay for legal representation to file a motion to reopen her case so she can back on the path of obtaining a green card and to file a habeas corpus to demand for her to be release and continue to pursue her case from outside of detention. I am am sure you are aware that hold her and so many in her situation for as long as they are is unlawful and unfair. We pray for a favorable outcome by God's grace. We couldn't have gotten here without you all so we thank you so much and hope the next update is sharing that our Abiola is free. Thank you so much and God bless you.
