My name is Aislyn Krenning and I am a Host Home Provider for individuals with intellectual, developmental, and medical disabilities. Caring for others has always been my passion, which is why I attended Missouri State University and earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Child and Family Development.

The individuals who live in my home are much more than clients; they are family. Many come to me on a fixed income with very little. Some arrive with no furniture, some have no family support, and others come with only a few personal belongings. When they enter our home, they are welcomed with open arms and become part of our family.

As a 24-hour care provider, I assist with every aspect of their daily lives. I take them to doctor appointments, help them obtain necessities, ensure they follow the proper diets for their medical conditions, and support them in living healthy, fulfilling lives. We attend church together, celebrate holidays together, take vacations together, and create lasting memories as a family. My goal is not just to provide care, but to provide a loving and stable home where they feel valued, respected, and included.

Recently, I completed a major renovation to transform my unfinished basement into additional living space for those in my care. The project included two bedrooms, a bathroom, a utility room with washer and dryer hookups, and a kitchen area with a large sink and dishwasher. While I am incredibly grateful to have completed this project, the costs were significant, and I currently do not have the funds needed to purchase appliances and other essential items for the space.

Many of the individuals in my care are also in need of furniture, clothing, household necessities, and other basic items that many of us take for granted. Any funds raised will go directly toward improving their quality of life through appliances, furniture, clothing, vacations, Christmas gifts, and other necessities and experiences that help make life meaningful and enjoyable.

I am also a mother to a wonderful seven-year-old daughter who has mild hearing loss and Chiari Malformation. I personally live with Type 1 diabetes and moderate hearing loss, which has given me a deeper understanding of the challenges that individuals with medical conditions and disabilities face every day.

If you have any questions about our home, our mission, or how donations will be used, please feel free to reach out. I am always happy to answer questions and share more about the people whose lives your generosity will impact.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness, support, and generosity. I truly could not do this without the support of our community. Every donation, prayer, share, and word of encouragement helps make a difference in the lives of the individuals I am honored to care for each day.
