In 2018 I escaped a Cali wildfire & lost everything including my leg. I've been pretty much homeless living out of my van since. Now my van broke down & I'm living in a tent. It's already getting cold out & I'm still recovering from a heart attack I had recently. Having the option of living in my van would be great for my health & happiness. The cost to repair my van is more than the van is worth. Getting a different used van is the wisest idea.All I can find within my budget is mechanic specials. I need to have more money to get something that will work for me in my situation of being in a wheelchair. And I'm afraid if I don't get anything within the next two days I won't get anything at all this month. I'm afraid of the city sweeping us and losing my camp and having no where to live and no transportation to move my stuff. I'm disabled and it's already hard enough getting around.
