In January 2024 Rachel was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive stage 4 cancer called cholangiocarcinoma. At that time Rachel was pregnant with their baby boy. In order to begin cancer treatment their son was induced early and born weighing just over one pound. After 3 months in the NICU Koa is now thriving and doing well. However, I’m heartbroken to report that Rachel’s treatment is no longer working.
I’m starting this fundraiser to help Joel with the mounting medical bills and general cost of living from the past and for the foreseeable future. Any amount will be greatly appreciated to help Joel, Rachel, Henley, and Koa during this unimaginable time. Thank you.
