Help Me Keep My Job!
My name is Amy, and asking for help is another difficult part of this ridiculously hard season of my life.
This past year has been one of the most challenging. I’m currently going through a difficult separation that left me with zero income. I have a new job and am working hard to rebuild a stable future for myself and my 10-year-old daughter while receiving no help from her father.
I am grateful to have a job but I drive about 30 minutes to and from it each day. Returning to work has been an important step toward becoming financially independent and creating a secure future for us where we won’t need his help.
My biggest challenge is saving enough for a reliable vehicle. The one I have is under his name only and I’ve already been told he’s having the bank come get it. Without a vehicle I lose my job and every scrap of progress I’ve made the last few months.
I want everyone to know that I’m doing everything I can. I’m working, selling personal belongings, including my wedding ring, and saving every dollar possible toward this goal. Asking for help isn’t easy, but sometimes accepting support is part of moving forward.
My goal is to raise enough for a down payment on a dependable vehicle. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward that goal. If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this fundraiser would mean more than you know.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your kindness, encouragement, and support will help my daughter and me take another step toward a fresh start.
With gratitude,
Amy
