This is Freddie. I rescued this boy in February 2023 along with his litter mate sister Clodagh. Freddie is such a loving gentle boy that stole my heart immediately. Clodagh and Freddie turned 1 April.
As of last week Freddie’s health has declined. First being diagnosed with pancreatitis, but than finding out 5-15-23 he was extremely dehydrated with a very high fever and needs hospitalization and an ultrasound to figure out what is going on. Ultrasound showed he has a blockage in his intestines and the only option to make sure he would be ok is to take him to surgery to remove the blockage. I couldn’t bare having to euthanize him for something that could be simple and relieve all of his problems. And I couldn’t bare taking him away from his sister clodagh so soon(they have been bonded since born). So here we are with Freddie in surgery and me having bills up to 10,000. I was in the process of shopping for pet insurance when all of this came about and can’t tell you how disappointed with myself I am that I didn’t get it sooner.

Freddie had to have abdominal surgery to remove a FB this past Tuesday. Easy surgery to remove and a decent recovery time, but cost about 7,000. I unfortunately don’t have any savings due to myself being out of work a year ago with a foot break. He is home now and is to rest and have his own cat condo to ensure no jumping or young cat activities take place with his recovery that could open up sutures. Freddie seems to be doing well but is just not used to being caged up. Please wish us well and if you can donate anything to his bill I and Freddie would so appreciate your kindness and gratitude.
