Hello my name is Jessie Benoit Jr. I'm not use to asking for help. I just fear I'm pulling us out our financial ditch to slowly. Family and I are homeless living out of vehicle which right now is broken down, (no energy, no heat at night). We live in Denver, Colorado. My family isn't that big. It's just My spouse Nichole Toriola, my child Naomi E. Toriola_Benoit (7 years old), and myself. I've recently transitioned from Amazon 16hPT to UPS 20hrPT for multiple reasons, including pay upgrade. My spouse still works at Amazon part-time with request in for full-time position. We've been stuck in this one spot for a lil over a month replacing parts as we can afford them one by one. Usually we would be using our funds to provide for ourselves (food/clothing/necessities/etc) and stay in motels. Right now we are without the financial means to maintain that. We've put in for choice(section8), been doing that for multiple years now to no advance forward. We've been apart of the uncounted homeless community for a bit over a year now. It's very depressing to even state this to you. I know I could keep pushing forward hoping my efforts and opportunities we're able to take advantage of work out but admitting to myself that things aren't working out is apart staying sane. My daughter is missing out on school which i believe provides not only education but (social competency/elevation that she can only recieve from that type of setting around kids in her age group). I literally never ask for help. Normally I work as a security guard so I'm use to being the person anyone can ask for help, any type of help im able to provide from the training ive recieved and heart that i have. I love being that person, it's an honor to be in a position to serve, save, and help others. I look forward to regaining my license when we re-stablize our family and living situation. Here I am today asking if there is any possible way you or any one you know can help my family past our current struggle? Trying to keep my family together is very big to me.
