Hi Everyone,
I'm so sorry it's taken me this long to post an update. I was warned by a few very smart people to limit my online activity while we were over there, so I only did the minimum.
Let's see, where do I start... how about with another huge THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU!!!!! I really can't tell you how grateful everyone is to receive the gear that we all have helped provide for the men and women on the ground. (it takes me forever to write this stuff because I get really choked up thinking about it. It's not so bad while we are there, but it is when we leave. That is the hardest part for me.)
I was trying to come up with a list of the total number of people we have helped between the two trips and it's at least THIRTY!!! This includes Body armor, camouflage top, and bottom (uniform), boots, helmets, eye and ear protection, elbow and knee pads, gloves, socks, underwear, t-shirts, sleeping bags, water purification pills/filters, gas masks, knives/multi-tools, binoculars/monoculars, individual first-aid kits (IFAC), 5 advanced first-aid kits (which a Medic or Corpsman would carry to deal with battlefield wounds/injuries), 10 range finders, 12 night vision binoculars/monoculars, 5 thermal rifle scopes, 15 daytime rifle scopes, and 6 drones, a bunch of portable power-banks, about 20lbs of batteries, plus countess personal hygiene items, diapers, baby wipes, vitamins, etc. I almost forgot radiation detectors and badges, and iodine pills. Side note here, another thing we learned from the first trip to the second. Since we couldn't afford to get all military issue night vision (they run about $2k/each and up) the guys had to rig the NV binoculars to a mount in the car so they could drive at night (with no lights on so they don't get shot). So, we got a bunch of cellphone windshield mounts with suction cups, found a compatible velcro mount to hold the binoculars, and they were in business!
Separate from this gear was the medical and surgical equipment that we gave to the doctors. This equipment was donated by a person who asked to remain anonymous, but I want you all to know how great this guy is! The Ukrainian doctors were just over the top with this stuff. So, a special thanks to Mr. Anonymous.
I'm sure I forgot some stuff, but you get the idea!
I am happy to share this sad story with all of you. Every single one of you is a hero to us, and to the people of Ukraine! I know I'm a broken record, but I really can't thank you all enough. We pray for the day that we can help with the rebuilding of these devastated areas in Ukraine, instead of worrying about gear for those fighting the war. God Bless and Thank You.

Good Morning Everyone,
Thank you all so much! I just wanted to tell everyone where we stand, but we're still picking up more supplies today.
We are set to outfit at least 12 people with a full kit: boots, elbow/knee pads, gloves, body armor and tactical vest, helmet, eye/ear protection, gas mask, IFAK (individual first aid kit) and I'm sure I'm forgetting something... We couldn't afford night vision for each kit but we have several sets! (it comes out to just over $1100 per person, not including NVGs) We also have 2 drones that are highly requested!
This is all thanks to your overwhelming support and generosity!!!!
There is no way this trip would be a success without ALL of you! We truly can not express how grateful we are for each and every one of you.
God Bless You All,
Don and Olga

The top pic is our living room, next is some of what came today. Thankfully it's nice out b/c we need more space! Thanks everyone!
