Hi! My name is Lily and I am raising money for the Miss America Foundation as a part of the Miss America 2022 competition. I am competing as Miss Union Market in the Miss District of Columbia competition. Did you know this is the 100th year of Miss America?
The Miss America Organization’s mission is to prepare great women for the world, and to prepare the world for great women. One of the ways they do that is by providing scholarships—from the national competition, all the way to our local communities.

About the Miss America Foundation:
The Miss America Foundation (MAF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that empowers women through career resources and educational scholarships. In addition to awards for women competing in the Miss America program, the MAF offers scholarships to women in the categories of medicine, business, STEM, military service, equity and justice work, social impact, athletics, the performing arts, and more. Donations made through this campaign will directly benefit the candidate’s state organization and the Miss America Foundation, 501(c)(3). As a 501(c)(3), donations are tax deductible per IRS regulations.
