Hi, my name is Lucia Gonzalez, and I’m originally from Guatemala. I moved to the United States two years ago to pursue a dream: to grow both as a professional equestrian athlete and as a student.
Back home, I studied physical therapy a field I’m deeply passionate about and I’ve continued my academic and athletic journey here in the U.S. However, the costs of making this move have been significant. Between visa fees, relocation expenses, and ongoing educational costs, it’s been a financial challenge to keep moving forward.
