I'm a single mother, raising amazing kids. When a change happens unexpectedly it rocks our entire world. This happened. On September 20,2024 I lost my only source of income. A week before rent and my tuition payment was due. Niyen is attending college at Elmhurst University. He receives amazing financial assistance from the university leaving my portion of tuition manageable, that is until I have no income. I need to keep him in school, it's his normal and his safe zone. He is excelling at soccer, school and just recently was awarded a job on campus in the IT department. He has everything he needs, including meals! He has worked his entire life to get where he is and I can't fail him now. He has a financial hold on his account until it is below $2000. He needs it off so he can stay on campus, register for spring and to be allowed his opportunity to travel to Singapore on scholarship in January. My security at home may be at risk but I hope we can keep him where he is. I am adding his current bill for reference and we are so close to keeping him there! He doesn't need to feel the stress I have.
